The Get Away

this is my post Christmas and New year gift to those who visit my blog.I was aiming to post this before year end but work must come first. Anyways, hope you will like this. Comments and suggestions will be highly appreciated. As for "The Curse" I'll try to finish the next chapter as soon as possible.

It’s already 4pm of Dec31. Hwangbo’s taking a nap when she was startled by the ringing of her phone. She reached and groggily answered the phone.



“Hello. Shillang, I’m just taking a nap. What time are you going to arrive?” Hwangbo asked.


“Buin, be ready in 10 minutes. I have sent a car to fetch you.” He answered.


“What fetch? Where are we going? “She asked nonstop as she sat up from the bed.


“Let’s just escape. Let’s celebrate the new year with only the two of us.” He replied


“Shillang, we’ve been planning this since last month. The boys are already here to celebrate New Year with us. Don’t back out now.” She insisted.


“I already explained to the boys. It’s ok with them. Come on, let’s not argue anymore. My driver will be there soon. Please buin.” Hyunjoong pleaded.


“What about the preparation? The food and the drinks we ordered?” she replied with exasperation.


“I already took care of that Buin. All you need to do is to get into the car that’s waiting for you. “He replied.


“Aish Hyunjoong! You’re giving me wrinkles. If it’s not New Year tonight I will never come and meet you.” She replied while trying to find clothes to wear.


“I know you can’t refuse me Buin. See you later. I love you.” He answered in a hurry and hung up.


As soon as she finished dressing up she tried to find the rooms of the SS501 boys. She knocked on Baby and Kyu’s room and she was sorry when Kyu opened the door s with eyes half closed.


“Hyungsunim, what are you doing here? We thought you already left?” He asked.


“Sorry for waking you up. I’m just here to let you know that I’m going .Sorry that we cannot celebrate with you guys.” She explained.


“It’s ok. Hyung already called us. We’ll just get together again sometime. Go now, Noona. Enjoy the new year.” Kyu replied with a smile.


Hwangbo hugged the young master and then hurriedly leave. She saw Hyunjoong’s driver waiting for her in the lobby and they leave immediately. The driver advised her that it may take about an hour to get to their destination so it’s better for her to sleep. Before drifting off, she sent a message to Hyunjoong informing him that they’re already on the way.





Hwangbo opened her eyes when she felt arms around her. She smiled and let Hyunjoong carry her out of the car. She put her arms around his neck and rests her head on his shoulders.


“You’re such a sleepy head Buin. I’ll take you first to our room so you can rest. It’s only six o’clock. We’ll have dinner when you wake up.


“It’s ok Shillang. I’m not sleepy anymore. I ‘ll just take a quick shower then we’ll eat.” She replied. “By the way, I said sorry to the boys before I left them. I’m just sad that we can’t celebrate with them tonight.” Hwangbo added.


“Aissh, Buin. Its’ ok. We’ll see them soon.” He answered with a grin.


“You have to take them to a nice dinner, ok? “She prodded to which Hyunjoong simply nodded.


“Go take a shower Buin. I’ll just meet you downstairs. I just need to attend to something.” And he gently pushed Hwangbo towards the bathroom.


“Ok. See you in a bit Shillang.” And give him a quick kiss on the lips.


Hwangbo went down to the hotel’s dining hall and looked for Hyunjoong. She wore a simple lilac wrap dress. Not showing too much skin but still showing her sexy curves. She was ushered by the maître d towards her waiting boyfriend. Hyejung smiled when she saw him looking so cool and manly in a tux. He stood up and as soon as she reached the table he hugged her before assisting her to her seat.


“You are really beautiful, Buin. All the guys here are looking at you in awe. “He complimented her as he reached for her hand on top of the table.


“You are so charming too, Shillang. My man.” She replied with a sly smile.


“Iam yours as you are mine. I’m so happy to be with you as we start the New Year. “And he even kissed her hands. “ Would you like to order some wine, Buin?


“What are you having?” she asked while trying to browse the menu.


“I’ll have steak and will pair it with Cabernet Sauvignon. Would you like that?” he enquired.


“That’s nice. I’ll have that too. I’ll have cheese cake for dessert. “She replied.


While waiting for their meal, the two just talked about mundane things. They agreed to ask the young masters to visit their house the week after so they can make it up to them. The couple enjoyed the dinner and after the scrumptious meal, they enjoy the night while listening to the in-house music. It’s almost 10pm when Hyunjoong asked Hwangbo to leave the hotel and stroll near the beach.


Hwangbo and Hyunjoong took off their shoes as soon as they reached the sands. Hand in hand they walk when Hwangbo noticed paper turtles in the sand.


“Look Shillang, paper turtles!” she exclaimed. Hyunjoong just shrugged it off as she watched his girlfriend picked up the turtles. One by one she picked it up, following the trail of paper turtles.


“Buin, be careful. It’s a bit dark.” He reminded her as she joyfully hopped and picked the papers.


“Shillang come on. Can you help me hold all of these.” she looked back at Hyunjoong. He just run towards her and took the turtles in her hand. Not noticing where the folded papers are leading her Hyejung was surprised to find her towards a pier. Hyunjoong reached for her hand and let her in.


“Shillang, what is this? Did you plan all of this?” She asked.


Hyunjoong just smiled at her and stole a quick kiss before they continue walking. Hyejung was so surprised when they stopped in front of a beautiful yacht.


“This is my gift for you Buin. This is “Angel”.


“You mean this is ours Shillang?” she asked in pure shock.


“Yes Buin. This way we can escape once in a while. Come on, let’s get inside.


They ran towards the yacht. Hyejung explored the whole boat. She was mesmerized with its beauty. It has 2 rooms, a mini bar and a small living room where they can enjoy music and movies. They settled on the couch and just cuddle while waiting for midnight. They got some wine from the mini bar and 5 minutes to 12 they went out and stay in the deck to enjoy the scenery.


“Hyunjoong, thank you for giving this to me. This must cost a lot.” She jokingly nudged him as he snake his arms around her.


“Your Shillang is working hard for you Buin. You so much deserve this. After all the hardship I cause you. “He sincerely replied.


“I don’t need extravagant things Shillang. You loving me is more than enough. “She replied and kissed him and began the countdown to the New Year.


5, 4, 3, 2, 1.


“Happy New Year!!!” they both shouted and hugged. Suddenly the skies where illuminated by a spectacular fireworks display and they watched it in awe. When the show finished, she was surprise not to see Hyunjoong beside her. She looked for him in the deck but he was not there. She went down and head to the living room. There she found him standing in the middle, his back facing her.


“Yah, Shillang, why did you leave me there? “She asked in confusion.


Music suddenly filled the small room. The song “Love” began and Hyunjoong faced her. He reached out his hand and Hwangbo walk towards him and took it. Now they’re standing face to face. Hyunjoong gently cupped his face and gave her a soft kiss before he gets down on his knees.


“Buin, you are my life and my world. Iam what Iam now because of you. You are my inspiration and happiness. Let me make up for all the times I’ve hurt. I want the whole world to finally know that you are my woman. Marry be Buin. Marry me and let’s start our family.” He asked in a very shaky voice.


“I will Shillang. I will. “She replied with teary eyed. She got down on her knees and Hyunjoong slipped the ring on her fingers. She wrapped her arms around him and was about to give him a kiss when lights opened and noise filled the room.


“Congratulations Noona and Hyung!!!" Kyu, Baby, Youngsaeng and Jungmin shouted and ran towards the couple.


“My young masters!” she hugged them all. “I am so happy you’re all here.”


“Noona, Hyung already planned everything. We were just waiting for the right time to come out. We’ve been here since dinner.” Baby excitedly explained.


“Aigoo! Baby really cannot contain his happiness.” Kyu shook his head and teasingly punch Hyung Joon.


“Congratulations Noona, we are so happy for both of you.” He shyly greeted the couple.


“You all eat for five minutes and leave. Me and my soon to be wife need time alone." Hyunjoong ordered the boys.


“Hyung, we also want time with Hyungsonim. You can enjoy all your time together when you get married." Jungmin rebuts.


“Shillang, come on let’s celebrate with the boys. They are our family. Besides we have the rest of our lives to spend together." Hye jung added and even throws an aegyo for his fiancé.


“Aissh... These guys. You can stay.” He replied. “But Buin, give me that kiss first. These guys really know when to interrupt." And pulled Hyejung towards him.


Hwangbo just laughed at him and decided to just give him a kiss on the cheeks. What she didn’t know is that Hyunjoong already anticipated that she’ll only kiss him on the cheeks. He turned his face so her kiss landed directly on his lips. As soon as their lips touched, Hyunjoong put his hands on her nape to deepen the kiss. Hyejung was a bit embarrassed because the boys were watching them but decided to just enjoy the kiss. Who cares their going to get married soon?


“ Aisshhh, Hyung go get a room!!” Jungmin yelled at them.


“Go, Hyung! We want to be godfathers soon!!” Baby cheered.


Kyu and Saengi just continue eating but also keeping their eye on the couple.
