Hello everyone. My last update for this year. hehe. Thank you for my avid readers..for sticking with me even if it takes ages for an update. Thank you for those who always leave comment. Honestly, if not for your kind words and encouragement, I would have closed this blog. So let me just thank you once again. I'm praying that 2014 will bring lots of cheers and blessing to everyone.

Chapter 22

“I want Mr. Kim and Ms Hwangbo to promote Choi Furnitures here in Hongkong.” Mrs Song uttered with conviction.

Hyunjoong and Hwangbo was stunned and good thing Atty.Park was able to react quickly.

“Mrs.Song, I’ll discuss this with Mr.Kim and Ms.Hwangbo since they also need to check this with their management.

“Mrs.Song, Hyejung and I will talk it over. We’ll inform Atty.Park once we decide on this matter.”Hyunjoong added.

“I hope it’ll not take long. I’m really interested in this business and I know getting you two as endorsers will really make a big difference.” Mrs. Song replied.

“We’ll let you know immediately.”Hyejung confirmed.

With that the couple excused themselves and went back to their table. Atty Park and the Songs continue with the dinner as well. After about thirty minutes the lawyer went to their table to bid goodbye.

“Baby, what do you think? Should we agree with Mrs. Song’s request?” Hyunjoong asked as they were on their way home.

“It’s no big deal for me babe. I don’t have any endorsement or contract after Muhan Girls ended. It’s also convenient for me if we have to shoot here. It’s you we have to think of. I’m not sure if Key east will agree with this specially if we have to be together.” Hyejung replied.

“I’ll check with Atty Park if he can show us the offer for the Songs so I can discuss it with Yong Joon Hyung as soon as I arrived in Korea.”Hyunjoong advised.

“Want me to call him now babe?” Hyejung offered.

“I’ll do it. Can I borrow your phone, baby?” Hyunjoong asked and she handed the phone to him. His call was immediately answered by Atty Park he informed that he will just see them the next day.

As soon as they arrived at Hyejung’s apartment, Hyunjoong pulled her for an embrace.

“I miss you so much, baby.” He uttered and pepper kissed Hyejung’s face.

“I miss you too, love. Come on, let me just take a shower so we can sleep, okay.”Hyejung replied ending the kiss.

“Are we just going to sleep?” Hyunjoong jibed as he snaked his arms on her waist.

“If that what you want, babe. But if you have other things in mind, be a good boy and wait for me in our room.” She answered with a grin.

Hyunjoong grab her arm and together they head to the bedroom. He then gently pushed Hyejung towards the restroom and then took a seat on the bed

“Hurry up, baby. I’ll wait for you.” Hyunjoong replied with a grin.

Hyejung chuckled before closing the restroom’s door for a quick shower.

The next day, Hyejung woke up with Hyunjoong’s gentle breathing on her neck. He was spooned behind her- with arm resting on her waist and a leg draped on top of hers. She cautiously turned to face him and smiled to see him still sleeping peacefully. Hyejung lightly run her finger on his nose which made Hyunjoong stir a bit. Then she dropped a peck on his lips, extricates his arm and leg from her and then climbed off the bed. She shivered as the cold wind touched her bare body so she immediately wrapped 

herself in a terry robe before heading to the shower.

At around nine in the morning Hyunjoong came out of the bedroom all fresh from shower. Hyejung was preparing their breakfast so he walked towards her and gave her a morning kiss.

“Good morning, babe. You’re just in time for breakfast. I was about to wake you up when you came out.” Hyejung greeted with a smile.

“Good morning baby. Sorry I woke up late. You wore me out last night.” Hyunjoong joked and Hyejung gently swat his arms.

“Babe, Atty.Park called about ten minutes ago. He’ll be dropping by at around eleven. Do you still wanna go out or we’ll just rest here and wait for him?” Hyejung enquired.

“Let’s just stay here, baby. I’ll be going home tonight so let’s just rest.” Hyunjoong answered.

The two enjoyed their breakfast and after cleaning up they just decided to watch a movie. They cuddled on the couch and watched-Thor.

As expected Atty.Myungsoo Park arrived at around eleven in the morning. Hyejung ushered him in and let him took a seat.

“ Atty.Park, good morning. Sorry for calling you immediately. You see, I’m going back tonight in Korea and I would like to know the offer we have for the Songs.” Hyunjoong started the discussion.

“Its okay, Hyunjoong-ssi. I actually would like to apologize for putting you in difficult situation. You see, Uncle Mirin and I offered this venture with the Songs two years ago.But since Uncle became sick and the Songs travelled to US; the plan was put on hold. When I called them this year, they express their interest in the business so I came here again. Uncle Mirin and I believe that once we close this deal for Hong Kong, it’ll be easier for us to export in other Asian countries too. Here’s a copy of the offer we have for them.” Myungsoo explained.

“So this deal is very important. I can talk to my manager and agency. I’m sure there will be no conflict. As of now, we just have to talk to Hyunjoong’s management team.” Hyejung said.

“I’ll explain to my manager. I’m sure we can work things out.” Hyunjoong replied.

“I’m really sorry for involving you in this. If just incase your agency will not allow, I’ll try to talk to the Songs’. We’ll check other options.” Myungsoo offered.

“Choi Galleries is also important to us. We also want to give back to Mirin-ssi for everything he has given us. I’ll do my best to get the approval from my agency.” Hyunjoong countered.

“Thank you, Hyunjoon-ssi, Hyejung-ssi. I know Uncle Mirin will be glad if we really close this deal. Let me know if you need any help. I’ll leave for now.” And he stood up to leave.

“We’ll call you as soon as possible, Myungsoo-ssi. Take care on your way.” Hyejung bid goodbye and send him to the door.

“Baby, you realize that we might need to announce that we’re together once we accept this offer, right?” Hyunjoong asked as Hyejung settled beside him.

“Yes.” Hyejung quipped.

“Are you okay with it, baby? I mean you’ve been telling me to just keep it as a secret for the meantime.” He tried to confirm.

“Yes. I’m good with it. As you said to Myungsoo-ssi, this is one way of giving back to Mirin-ssi. He has given us a lot- and most especially he has paved the way for us to be together again. “Hyejung explained.

Hyunjoong pulled her in his embrace and whispered.

“I’ll talk to my agency baby. I really wish we can get their approval. I will also tell them that we will announce about our relationship.”

“I’m sorry if I can’t be there to support you.” Hyejung uttered.

“It’s okay, baby. Don’t worry too much. I’ll call you as soon as I get their decision. I know it’ll be favorable for us.” He replied.

Hyejung snuggled to him and they enjoy the rest of the day before Hyunjoong’s flight back to Korea.

It was already Wednesday evening when Hyunjoong finally got the chance to call Hyejung. He’s been very busy the past two days but he was able to talk to Key East about the offer for Choi Galleries. The company is against it- stating that it can hamper the success of Hyunjoong’s career. If people will link him to Hwangbo, his fans might give up and leave him. He immediately called Hwangbo and let her know of the company’s decision.

“Hi Baby. How are you?” He greeted as soon as Hyejung picked up the call.

“I’m okay babe. Also busy with school. How about you?” Hyejung replied.

“I’m good. Baby, I already got my agency’s approval.” He said.

“That’s great babe! But why do you sound unhappy?” She enquired nervously.

“Baby, there’s a provision in my agreement with Key East. They only agreed with endorsing Choi Gallery but we need to put on hold our plans for coming out in public.” Hyunjoong explained.

Hyejung took a deep sigh before replying.

“Babe, don’t worry. I’m okay with it. And they didn’t say that we cannot come out, they just said to put it on hold. Maybe in a couple of months, they will agree to it.” Hyejung tried to cheer him up.

“But it seems like I’m letting you down baby. I really tried. They told me that they will just check if my fans will accept us. If our endorsement will not affect my career, then we can announce it.” he advised feeling very resigned.

“Don’t worry babe. I understand. I know you’ve done your best. Let’s just pray that we’ll get good feedback with this endorsement.” She replied

“I love you, Hyejung-ah. I miss you.” Hyunjoong whispered.

“I love you too; babe.I’ll see you on Saturday. I’m flying back home.” Hyejung advised.

“Baby, my manager and I will be there in Hong Kong on Friday for the contract signing. Tell Atty. Park to ready all the documents and inform the Songs for contract signing on Saturday if possible.” He countered

“Okay, babe. I’ll just stay here then. I’ll see you on Friday night. I love you babe.” And Hyejung bid goodbye.

After they hung up, Hyejung called Atty. Park to inform him of their decision. On Hyejung’s part, her manager already agreed with the endorsement and will just fly to Hong Kong for the contract signing. She called him as well as agreed for meet up on Saturday.

The next day, Hyejung received a call from Atty Park asking if she can meet him in a café since he need to check some details with her. They agreed to meet up after her class and after checking the documents Atty Park send her to her apartment.

It was Friday morning when Hyunjoong was getting ready for his flight when his manager came rushing with a newspaper in his hand. He crumpled the paper when he saw the picture- Hyejung and Myungsoo coming out of the café with the headline…

“Is he Hwangbo’s current man?”

Hot Choco Christmas

Hey, Love!” I greeted as soon as other party picked up the call.

“Hey baby. How are you?” he replied.

“I’m home. I just need to pick up my things before my flight at 3pm. I’ll just see you in our place, okay?” I had spoken.

“My flight’s at a later time but I’ll be home tonight. See you later, Hyejung. I love you” he whispered affectionately

“I love you, too, Hyunjoong. See you later.”  And with that I ended the call.

Hyunjoong and I have been together for four years now. We haven’t admitted it in public but it’s already a common knowledge in our industry. After our stint in We got married, my young make believe groom pursued me and after giving him a hard time-it actually took him six months; I said yes to him. It’s not an easy road but we tried to make things work out. Now he’s busy filming for his new drama while I am studying in Hongkong. I already lie low in show business especially now that Muhan Girls ended. I just came back from Hongkong and I’m heading to our place – in Jeju.

After fixing my bags I head out for an hour drive to the airport. It’s the eve before Christmas and good thing that Hyunjoong got a break for this holiday. Filming will resume by the New Year and I will also head back to Hongkong. I’m almost ten minutes away from the airport when the throbbing in my head worsens. I’ve been feeling unwell since I woke up – but I shrugged it off since I need to fly to Jeju.

 I endure the pain that I’m feeling; I checked in immediately and waited for my flight. The airport’s already packed with tourists on holiday vacation. I chose a secluded spot to wait for boarding and then texted my boyfriend even though I’m not sure if he’ll be able to read it. After about thirty minutes, I heard them call for boarding and follow the stream of people. I slept thru the entire flight and only when the pilot announced our plane’s descend that I woke up.  My whole body’s aching and the throbbing in my head continues. I already called the care taker of our house to fetch me and after fifteen minutes, I saw him pull in. I smiled at him and he assisted me in my entire luggage.

“Good afternoon, Ahjussi. How are you and ahjumma?”  I asked.

 “We’re okay. Hyejung-ssi. We already bought the things you asked and it’s stocked up in the freezer.  “He replied.

“Thank you. Would you mind if I took a nap, ahjussi? Im really sleepy.”  I ruefully asked.

“Go ahead. Are you okay, Hyejung-ssi? You look sick.” He asked back.

“I’ll be okay, Ahjussi. I just need to sleep it off. “ I simply replied.

“Okay then. I’ll wake you up once we arrived.” With that I closed my eyes and let sleep claims me.

“ Hyejung-ssi..We’re here.” Ahjussi gently woke me up.

I unwillingly open my eyes and step out of the car. Ahjumma greeted me and ushered me inside the house.As soon as I stepped in, I was greeted by our two lovely dogs- Art and Matic.  I ruffled their coat and they followed me as I took a seat on the couch. After a few minutes, I saw Jins running and she jumped in my lap. I can’t help but smile and feel at ease now that I’m home. After putting my bags in my room, Ahjussi and ahjumma bid goodbye. I send them off at the front door and was surprised when Ahjumma walk back to me and asked.

“Are you sure you’re okay to be alone here, Hyejung?  Would you like me to accompany you till Hyunjoong arrives? “

“I’ll be okay, ahjumm. I’ll just rest and I’ll be fine later. Don’t worry. Besides, your daughters are expecting you to there in Busan, right? “

She reluctantly nods but not without reminding me to eat and rest so I will be well. I assured her that I’ll do just that and only then did the couple leave.  I went back in the house and began my preparation.

Our home is a two story loft style glass house. Hyunjoong bought this 1000 square meter lot for our second anniversary but only on our third anniversary that he brought me here. The house already finished and fully furnished. You see, Hyunjoong is not the flower and chocolate type of boyfriend. So imagine my surprise when he brought me here and told me that this property is under our name. When he toured me inside the house, he asked if there’s something I wanted to change once we move in. Seeing how meticulously he planned our home- I can never imagine changing anything. From the off-white walls, the cherry oak cabinets, the comfortable white recliner couch and all the fixtures in the house- it all blended so well. We also have a garden where our would be children can play. As of now, this is the playground for our dogs. This house became our secret hide away. Whenever he and I got free time, we always spend it here.

Since its only a day before Christmas, I set up a table top Christmas tree in our living room. I wanted a big tree but since I don’t have much time- I settled with this one. I also asked ahjumma to buy some other ornaments. I started putting the mistletoe and wreaths by the door.  Some Christmas balls and our Christmas stockings also adorned the fireplace. When I’m satisfied with my masterpiece in the living room, I prepared the dining room. I set it somewhat like those in fancy fine-dining restaurant. All I need now is to prepare the food.  Its only quarter past eight so I just toss salad for my dinner. All the other food I will prepare before midnight- hopefully Hyunjoong will be here too so we can celebrate together. When I finished my dinner, I decided to take a shower and fix my luggage. But as soon as I finished taking a bath, I started to get chills and felt so dizzy. I dressed hastily and lay in bed- snuggled in layers of blanket and comforters to let the nausea pass.

Gentle kisses on my face woke me up from deep slumber. I pried my eyes open and surprised to see my Hyunjoong smiling at me.

“Merry Christmas, love.”  He whispered and he leaned for a kiss.

“Merry Christmas babe. I’m sorry I took a nap. What time did you arrive?” I asked as lay beside me.

“Half past ten.” Hyunjoong replied.

“Oh no! I haven’t prepared anything and it’s almost midnight. I’m really sorry baby.”  I immediately sat up and almost bolted off the bed. But Hyunjoong snake his arms on my waist and pull me down to lay beside him.

“It’s okay baby. You’re sick. Let’s stay just like this for a while.”  Hyunjoong tried to calm me down.

“But babe its Christmas. I wanted to prepare something special for you. I’m not sick. I’m okay now.” I replied a bit dejected.

“I know baby but just to be sure you’ll be fine on our vacation, no need to exhaust yourself preparing lots of food. It’s just you and me anyway.” Hyunjoong reasoned out.

“Bu what if?” I rebut but he cut me in.

“No ifs and buts. If we need to cook, I’ll be the one to do it. Right now, baby what I want is for you to bundle up and wait for me in the living room. “He replied firmly and walked out of the bed.

I had no choice but to follow his orders. I grabbed a pink cardigan and another pair of socks before heading out of the room. I’m still a bit dizzy and my tummy’s a bit queasy but I’m feeling better. I head to the living room and smiled when I saw our fireplace already blazing. I sat on the couch, recline it a bit and wait for Hyunjoong.A few minutes later, he walked in with a tray in his hands. He set it in the table and sat beside me. I gingerly sat on his lap and rest my head on his shoulders.

“Are you okay, baby?” he asked as he drop a kiss on my forehead.

“Yes, love. I’m just thinking. We’re together for Christmas and this is the 1^st time for us to celebrate it herein our own home. There’s nothing more I can ask for.” I replied.

“I’m glad that you’re happy baby. Here, I prepared hot Chocó drink and some cookies.” Hyunjoong hand me the mug as soon as I settled beside him.

“I was aiming for a lovely dinner for us. I’ll make it up to you sometime, love.” I assured him as we enjoy our simple snack.

“I’ll look forward to it, baby. For now let’s just enjoy our Hot Chocó christmas, okay?.” He chuckled.

When we’re done, Hyunjoong took back the tray to our kitchen. He then came back with a quilt and lay it near the fireplace. He called out to me so I moved towards him. He guided me to sit in front of him; let me rest my back on his chest as he wrapped his arms around me.

“Merry Christmas, baby.” And he handed me a small box.

“Thank you, love. Can I open it now?” I asked to which he just nodded.

“Let’s make it official, baby. I love you too much and I’d like the world to know it. Will you marry me?”  He sincerely asked as I stare at the diamond ring inside the box. When I met his eyes, I saw the unshed tears so I close the distance between us and drop a peck on his lips.

“I love you, Hyunjoong-ah. It’ll be my pleasure to become your wife.” I replied with all my heart.

Hyunjoong removed the ring from the box and slip it in my left ring finger. He kissed me once again. When we came up for air, I asked him to stay put as I rushed to our room to get his gift.  I sat beside him and gave him his gift.

Like any child on Christmas day, Hyunjoong excitedly open my gift. I watched him with a smile and I can’t believe that his tears fell when he finally saw my surprise.

“This is it, baby? Really?” his voice quiver trying to hold his emotions.

I nod and before I knew it, my tears are falling as well.

“Yes, Love. We’re going to have a baby!” I confirmed.

“This is the best Christmas by far, baby. Thank you.” Hyunjoong uttered before pulling me into his embrace.

“Merry Christmas, love.”  I sincerely replied.

Chapter 21

It’s already late in the afternoon when the couple woke up. Hyejung decided to just call in to order food and then took a quick shower. When she finished, she found Hyunjoong just getting off the bed.

“Hi Baby! What time is it?” Hyunjoong asked as he walks towards Hyejung. As soon as he reached her, he dropped a quick kiss on her lips.

“Quarter past four. I already called and order Chinese food. Had a nice sleep, babe? Go and take a shower so we can eat.” Hyejung replied affectionately.

“It was indeed a good sleep coz I am with to you. “  And again he stole a kiss from her. Hyejung swatted his arms and he playfully hugs her to block her hit. He then grabs a towel and head to the shower.

When Hyujoong was comfortably dressed, Hyejung was already done preparing their food. They ate while chatting and teasing each other.

“Babe, I will have to go to the university tomorrow. Will you be alright staying her alone?” Hyejung ask when they were sitting comfortably in the couch. She was snuggled beside Hyunjoong and his arms are draped around her.

“Of course, I’ll be fine here. Don’t worry baby, I’ll just watch some drama, read my mangas and wait for you patiently." Hyunjoong assured her.

“Alright. I’ll also ask around if there’s a place we can go to in the evening. Maybe I’ll ask the directress. We just have to ensure that it will be safe enough and no paparazzi.” she replied.

“I’m not really afraid for reporters to see us. It’s okay for me to let people know that we are together.” He countered.

“In time, babe, we’ll get there. Let’s just enjoy what we have just between the two of us.”  Hyejung stated. Hyunjoong just nodded and she snuggled even more.

The next day, Hyejung left the apartment at around eight in the morning. Hyunjoong was still asleep so she just dropped a peck on his lips and left a note on the dresser. She went to class and actually enjoyed her 1^st day in the university.

She was walking on the way home when she met the directress. She smiled at her and the woman greeted her back.

“How was your fist day, Ms.Hwangbo?” Fei asked.

“It was fun. I really enjoyed it. Are you on your way home too, Ms. Chung?”  She asked back.

“Just call me Fei, Hyejung. I’m just a few years older than you.” The woman advised her.  “Yes I’m on my way home. My apartment is just a few block away. You know Royal Suites? “

“Yes. That’s were I’m staying too. Let’s just walk together then. “Hwangbo replied with glee.

“Sure! Let’s go!” and they chatted on the way to the apartment.

Hyejung was so excited to see her boyfriend. It’s only a few hours ago but knowing that he’s waiting for her made her miss him. 

“Welcome home baby.”   Hyunjoong who was already waiting by the door greeted her. Hyejung walked towards him and give him a kiss. Just then Hyunjoong handed her a big bouquet of yellow tulips.

“Congratulations on your 1^st day in the university baby. I’m so proud of you.”

“Thank you, babe. Thank you for understanding and for being here to support me.” Hyejung fondly embraced her boyfriend once again.

Hyunjoong gently tugged her arms and led her to the living room. There in the coffee table was a simple feast. A fancy looking cake was in the centre of, a bottle of wine, a platter of Carbonara and blocks of cheese.

“Let’s have dinner now, baby. “ Hyunjoong said and began serving her food.

They cuddled in the sofa after dinner. Hyejung snuggled comfortably to Hyunjoong, his arms around her as they watched TV. After about an hour, the couple decided to head to bed since Hyejung have an early class.

Time passed by so fast. For the past days, Hyunjoong stayed home while Hyejung went to school. Although they managed to have dinner date one night- Fei suggested the high end restaurant, most of the time, they just enjoyed their time at the home. It’s already Saturday now and the couple will now head back to Korea. Hyejung will have to go back to Hongkong alone by Sunday night. As soon as they touch down, Hyunjoong send her to the location shoot of Muhan Girls. Even though she’s tired she still joined the group in the activities as she promised. It was already ten in the evening when the shoot finished and her manager drove her home.

Not even bothering to turn on the lights in her living room, she dropped her tired body in the couch. She was trying to look for a comfortable position when her bedroom door opens - her Hyunjoong clad only in boxers greeted her. He walks towards her slowly and lifter her into his arms. Hyejung laced her arms on his neck and Hyunjoong dropped a kiss on her lips.

“Welcome home baby. There’s a warm bath waiting with your name on it.” He greeted with a smile.

“It seems surreal. To find you waiting with that smile and welcoming me home. It’s almost like a dream. I want to pinch myself just to be sure that its reality.” Hyejung uttered.

“Don’t worry, baby. It’s all true.  I’m here and you’re in my arms. Now, let me help you get off these clothes so you can enjoy your bath and I’ll bring you dinner, okay.” Hyunjoong replied. 

As soon as Hyejung settled in the tub with aromatic scent, Hyunjoong head out. He came back after about fifteen minutes with a steaming bowl of stew, a bottle of wine and wine glass. He then feed his girlfriend who’s still soaking in the tub. He gave her wine and when the bath water turns cold, he assisted her out.  They head to the bedroom and Hyunjoong tucked her in before cleaning up the dishes. Hyunjoong took a shower after and then turn in for the night. He just dropped a kiss on Hyejung’s lips and then spooned behind her who was already in deep slumber.

As promised to her parents, the couple went to visit them. Hyejung had a late evening flight so they had dinner first before Hyunjoong sent her to the airport. Just like the 1^st time she left for Hongkong, they had to say their goodbye in the car since people might spot them. Hyejung unlatched her seatbelt before turning to Hyunjoong and pulled him for a kiss.

“I’ll miss you babe. I’ll be home as soon as possible.” Hyejung uttered trying not to be too sad.

“I’ll miss you more, baby. Call me as soon as you arrived. Study hard but don’t forget to take care of yourself. I love you, baby.”  Hyunjoong replied.

Hyejung kissed him again before she reached for her bag in the backseat and got out of the car heavy hearted. She waved him goodbye before heading inside the airport. She checked in immediately and waited for her flight. Just as she took a seat she felt her phone vibrate so she checked the message. Hyejung can’t help but smile as she read her boyfriend’s message

“Im already missing you, baby. Can’t wait for Saturday. I love you.”

“I love you too, babe. Take care while I’m away." She sent her reply.

It’s been two months now that Hyejung started schooling in Hongkong. She was able to adjust quickly and even if she cannot be with Hyunjoong most of the time, their relationship stays strong. Hyunjoong ‘s schedule is also packed but he requested from his management to be free every weekend so he can spend time with Hyejung if she’s in Korea.  Hyejung always call him before going to school and before she sleeps at night. But this weekend, she cannot go back home. She’s going to have an exam the coming week and she needs to finish a project with her classmates. Hyejung already called her manager to inform that she cannot attend Muhan Girl’s shooting. She also informed her mother and now she’s about to call Hyunjoong.

“Hi baby. How are you?” Hyunjoong greeted as soon as he picked up the phone.

“Hi Babe. I’m okay. How about you?” She replied.

“I’m good. I can’t wait to see you. I miss you.” he sincerely answered.

“Babe, I’m sorry but I can’t go back home this Saturday. I need to finish a project with my classmates and prepare for an exam.” Hyejung informed.

“Really baby? I was looking forward to seeing you. Can you not finish the project before Saturday?” Hyunjoong tried to coaxed  her to come home.

“We don’t have enough time to finish it within this week so weekend’s our only resort. I wanted to go home and see you too. But this is really important for us to pass our subjects.” She explained.

“Ok, then if it really can’t be helped. I just miss you badly.” He conceded.

“I miss you too, babe. Thank you for understanding.” Hyejung took a sigh of relief.

Come Saturday, Hyejung and her schoolmates meet up to finished their project. Fortunately, they were able to discuss and finished by late noon. She head home and decided to just take a nap. She woke up at around seven in the evening and just cooked ramen for dinner. She is preparing her meal when she heard the door bell ring.  A bit confused as to who might be visiting at this hour she checked the intercom and surprised to see who’s on the other side.

“ Hyunjoong-ah!” and she rushed to open the door.

“Surprise, baby!” Hyunjoong greeted and wrapped her in his arms.

“Babe! Come in.” And she tugged him inside the apartment. Hyunjoong placed his duffel bag in the couch and the reached for Hyejung once again. This time she greeted her properly with a kiss.

“Babe, I miss you. Thank you for coming over.” Hyejung uttered as soon as they came up for air.

“I miss you baby. My weekend’s not the same if I can’t spend it with you. So if you can’t come back to Korea; I have to fly here to be with you.” Hyunjoong replied.

“Thank you babe and I’m sorry for the inconvenience.” And she hugged him once again.

“You will never be an inconvenience to me. You are my happy pill and I can’t be away from you for long." And he kissed her nose to tease her.

“Well, then babe. I only have ramen for dinner. Let’s just share that or would you like to have dinner out?” Hyejung asked.

“ Can we have dinner in  Le Petite France?” Hyunjoong asked.

“Alright, babe. I’ll call to reserve a table.” And she reached for her phone but Hyunjoong took it from her.

“I’ll do it, baby. Just go get dress.”

They were able to reserve a table. Hyejung drive them to the restaurant. She was able to acquire a driving license and she is temporarily renting a car of Fei’s brother.  They were ushered to their table as soon as they step in. Hyunjoon then noticed the party on the table next to them.

“Baby, Atty Park is on the other table.” Hyunjoong whispered.

“ Oh,yes. Babe, come on let’s greet them.” Hyejung replied and the couple stood up to greet Atty. Park.

“Good evening, Atty.Park.” Hyunjoong uttered and the couple bowed to greet everyone.

“Kim Hyunjoong-ssi, Hwangbo-ssi, good evening.” Atty. Park greeted back and he stood and introduced them to the other party.

“Let me introduce, Mr and Mrs Song. They’re interested with Choi Furnitures.Mr and Mrs. Song; here are Mr. Kim Hyunjoong and Ms Hwangbo Hyejung- half owners of Choi Furnitures.

The couple greeted them and they were surprised when Mrs. Song said.

“I’m willing to close this deal as soon as we agree on one thing.”

“Go ahead, Mrs. Song. We’ll try to work on it.” Myungsoo replied.

“I want Mr. Kim and Ms Hwangbo to promote Choi Furnitures here in Hongkong.” Mrs Song uttered with conviction.

Chapter 20

Hyunjoong’s face lit up as soon as he saw Hyejung’s silly grin. For a moment he just stared at this lovely woman laying on his bed and smiling at him.

“Are you just going to stare at me the whole night, Shillang? I don’t want my efforts wasted!” Hyejung jibed at him.

Hyunjoong let his eyes roam on his girlfriend’s body then gently lay on the bed facing her.

“I missed you, baby. Thank you for coming back home.” And kissed her passionately. Hyejung‘s response was twice as fiery and the two spend the whole night making up for the day away from each other.

Hyunjoong woke up the next day only to meet an empty space beside him. He gently ran his hand on Hyejung’s side of the bed and felt its cold. It might have been a few hours since she got off. He sat up and checked his watch by the bedside table-It’s only eight o’clock.  He got off the bed, wore his boxers and left to check if Hyejung already went home. He checked on the bathroom but it was empty. He head to the living room but no one was there as well. Just then he heard faint sound from the kitchen so he head there immediately.

Hyejung was busy preparing special breakfast for Hyunjoong. She woke up in a good mood about an hour ago, had a quick shower and decided to cook. She put on her headset and sways to the music as she busy herself in the kitchen. She was so engrossed with her Kimchi stew when she was startled with Hyunjoong’s hand snaking on her waist. She turned her head to greet him but his lips stopped her.

“I wonder what spell you put me under. I can’t get you off my mind. For a while I got scared when I woke up alone. Good morning baby! ” Hyunjoong whispered as soon as they come up for air.

“Good morning, honey. I’m here to stay so don’t worry.” And Hyejung dropped a peck on his lips to assure him. “Now just take a seat and wait till I finish our food. Let’s have breakfast then we can stay in bed all day.”

“That’s a good idea, baby. Eat as much as you can coz you will need it later.” Hyunjoong sleazily replied.

When they finished breakfast, Hyunjoong dragged her to the living room and made her stay there as he washed the dishes. When he went back to the living room she was busy reading the papers from the university. He took a seat beside her, gently lifts her and placed her on his lap. Hyejung just smiled at him and went back reading.

“Baby, I’m free from today til tomorrow. Then just a shoot for commercial on Monday then we can leave. Should I book the ticket for us?” he asked.

“I’ll do it tonight, Shillang. We can leave late night of Monday so we will arrive early Tuesday in Hongkong. We’ll go straight to my apartment.” Hyejung replied.

“Okay. Do you have anything to do today?” he asked again.

“I’m planning to drop by later at Shimsontang and have dinner with mom. Will you come with me?” she asked back.

“Sure, baby.” And he began nuzzling her neck.

“ Hyunjoong-ah, I have something to tell you.”  Hyejung uttered. Hyunjoong just mumbled an okay so she continued. “When I was in Hongkong, I saw Myungsoo.” She whispered.

Hyunjoong roaming hands stilled and he stopped kissing her. Hyejung get off his lap so she can face him.

“Atty Park? Why is he there? Does he know you’re going to Hongkong? Did he follow you?” Hyunjoong ranted.

“He said he’s meeting a client of Choi Galleries. He actually invited me to come since we’re stockholders but I declined.” Hyejung explained.

“Did he invite you out? “He asked again.

“Yes, but again I turned him down. I already told him that we’re together.” She replied.

Hyunjoong sighed. He lifts her up and again let her sit on his lap.

“That’s why I worry so much when you’re away. I know there are lots of men who will try to get close to you.” He uttered with worrisome.

“Don’t you trust me, honey?” Hyejung enquired.

“I trust you. I do, baby. It’s just the men out there that I’m wary of. You are beautiful, sexy and with good personality. They’ll get attracted to you easily.”  He countered.

“But it doesn’t matter, I have you and you are more than enough. Even if they do everything, they cannot have my heart coz I already gave it to you. Just believe in me, honey.” Hyejung declared and pulled Hyunjoong for a kiss.

“Even if they offer you a big house and a new car?” Hyunjoong asked

“I don’t need those, baby.” Hyejung replied.

“Even if they’re more good looking, buff and richer than me?” he blabbered on.

“Yes baby, I’ll still choose you.” She affirmed.

“What if its Tom Cruise or Kang Dong Won? Will you still choose me?” Hyunjoong asked again.

“Tom Cruise and Kang dong Won are my ideal men but it’s you I love you.” Hyejung replied. She gently pushed him on his shoulders, letting him lay down on the couch with her straddling his waist.

“I have a better idea, honey. I will just show you how much I do love you so you will believe me, okay?” she uttered and began removing her tank top.

“That’s the best answer, baby.”  Hyunjoong replied with a sneaky grin.

It’s already past five when the couple went out of Hyunjoong’s apartment. They just ordered late lunch and just stay home till they have to meet up with Hyejung’s mother.

Jinri Hwangbo was already settled in the restaurant’s office when the two arrived. They politely greeted her and waited for their food.

“Jungie-ah, are you sure you’ll be fine in Hongkong?” her mother asked with concern.

“I’ll be fine, Mom. And I’ll try to come back home every week and visit you.” Hyejung assured.

Jinri just nodded then turned to Hyunjoong. “Are you going to send her off?”

“Yes, mother. I’ll stay with her for a couple of days since I was able to free my schedule.” He replied politely.

" I wonder what she did for you allow her to study in Hongkong. Will you be okay with this set up, Hyunjoong?" Jinri asked him again.

" What makes her happy makes me happy as well. Even if its hard, I have to support her. That's how much I love her Mother." Hyunjoong sincerely replied.

"You're lucky, Hyejung-ah. So you better me good there." Her mother reminder her.

“Mom, don’t worry too much. I’m a big girl now, I’ll be okay.” Hyejung again tried to pacify her worried mother.

“Okay, Jungie. Just call me every day. Even if you’re old enough to start your own family, you’re still my baby girl. So just stay safe there, okay.” Jinri replied with a smile.

Hyejung hugged her mother while Hyunjoong just watched them.  Seeing how his girlfriend loves her parents only affirms that she’s a good soul. They send her home around nine in the evening and head back to Hyunjoong’s place. They stayed there till Sunday but come Monday, Hyejung went back to her apartment after talking to her agency. She informed them that she’ll just fly back every taping day. Then she head back home and prepare her luggage. Around ten in the evening, Hyunjoong arrived and drove them towards the airport.

They reached Hongkong early in the morning and went straight to her place.  Her unit is in the 16^th floor and ready for her arrival. It’s already fully furnished so when they got in, Hyejung prepared tea and got some packed biscuit in her bag. When they finished their light meal, the two head to the bedroom to rest before they start a new day in Hongkong.

Chapter 19

“Myungsoo-ssi!” Hwangbo exclaimed.

Myungsoo’s face lit up upon seeing Hyejung. Call it fate or whatever but he’s just surprise to meet her in Hongkong.

“Hyejung-ssi, fancy meeting you. What are you doing here?’ He asked still smiling.

“I was accepted in a fashion school here. I’ll just check the university then head back to Korea to settle things before I leave again.” She explained. “What about you?”

“We’ve got a client meeting. I’ll be staying for a few days or until we’ve closed the deal. If you got free time, you can come since you’re also half owner of Choi Galleries.” Myungsoo replied.

“I’ll check my schedule. I got to go now. I need to see the department head of the university.” Hyejung apologetically bid goodbye and head to her hotel room.

Just as soon as she stepped inside, her phone rang and she answered it immediately.

“Shillang!” she greeted with a smile.

“Are you in your room now? How was your flight?” Hyunjoong enquired.

“It was okay. I just slept thru it. Yes, I’m now in my room, actually I just got in. I’ll just take a quick shower then go to the university.” Hyejung replied.

“Alright. Good to know you’ve arrived safe. Don’t stay long there, baby. I’m already missing you.” Hyunjoong whined.

“I miss you too, Hyunjoong-ah. I promise to just check my schedule and I’ll head back home.” She assured her boyfriend.

“Okay. Break’s over now, baby. I got to go back to the photo shoot.” He unwillingly informed her.

“Take care, Shillang. I love you. I’ll be home soon.” Hyejung bid goodbye.

“I love you, baby. Can’t wait to see you.” And both took a sigh before they hung up.

Hyejung took a quick shower and dressed up to leave. Since she’d been in Hongkong a few times, she’s familiar with the area and just took a taxi. The university is about ten minutes away from where she’s staying. When she got off the taxi, nervousness enveloped her. Though she’s used talking to different types of people, going back to school still unnerved her. She mustered all her courage and made her way to the department’s main office. She was ushered to the directress’ office and they told her to wait for a few minutes.

“Ms. Hwangbo Hyejung?”  A beautiful woman, maybe just a few years older greeted her.

Hyejung stood up and replied with a smile.

“Yes. That’s me.”

“Hi, I’m Fei Lin Chung, directress of the Global Fashion Academy. It’s good to finally meet you.”  And motioned for her to take a seat. As soon as both settled, Fei continued.

“Ms.Hwangbo. I’ve read in your application that you’re an actress in South Korea. How come you’ve decided to apply here to finish your studies?”

“I actually started as a part of a girl group. We've disbanded a few years ago and I've tried a solo singing career and joined few TV programs. I’m not as active as before but I’m still a mainstay in a show called Muhan Girls. I really wanted to pursue a career in fashion design. I want to put up my own clothing line someday. I chose to study here because I want to be a normal student.” Hyejung explained.

“Okay. So you said you still have a show back home. How will you juggle your career and studies?” Fei asked again.

“We shoot only once a week. I can fly back every week. But if my schedule here won’t permit, then I’d have to take a leave from the show. Studying is my priority now and my management is already aware of my plans.” She replied adamantly.

“Your scholarship is good for one year. You have free accommodation but it’ll be room sharing. If you choose to get a place of your own, it’s fine, too. As long as you maintain the grades we require you for the whole term, then you can take a scholarship assessment test for additional courses.” The directress discussed and Hyejung listened attentively.

“I’ll do my best and prove that I’m worth this chance. Thank you, Ms Chung for granting this scholarship.” Hyejung sincerely uttered.

Fei shook her hand and replied congenially. “I was impressed with your application and I know you’ll be great. Just stay focus and enjoy your stay here in our university. Now, here’s your schedule, we expect you to be here for the start of the term which is next week. ”

“I’m very excited to study again. I’ll see you next week. Thank you again.” And Hyejung bid goodbye to the directress.

Although Hyejung already decided to rent her own place, she decided to drop by the university accommodation. It was okay but now that Hyunjoong and her are seeing each other she really need to have her own house. Privacy and security is very important for them so she rented a one bedroom condo unit just a block away from the university. She already called the real estate agent to prepare the place and she’ll be coming back three days before school opens.  

Since it’s still a bit early, Hyejung decided to go around and shop for a bit. She excitedly bought new clothes – those which she can use in school. She also bought some souvenirs for her mother and for Hyunjoong’s mom. Satisfied with her purchases, she was heading back to the hotel when she saw something and decided to buy it for her boyfriend. When she got back to her hotel room, she just took a shower and changed her clothes to have dinner. She decided to just eat inside the hotel.

It’s just around half past six so the restaurant it’s not hard to get a table. A maitre d’ assisted her to her table and took her order. She was browsing her phone when someone called her.

“Good evening, Hyejung-ssi.”

“Myungsoo-ssi. Good evening. “She greeted back.

“Are you dining alone? Can I just share a table with you?” Myungsoo asked shyly.

“Yes it’s just me. Sure just take a seat then.” Hyejung replied with a smile although a bit hesitant.

Myungsoo cat help but grin. He excitedly took the seat in front of Hyejung.

“What will you order, Hyejung-ssi? He asked.

“It’s okay. I already placed my order.” She replied.

Myungsoo was a bit disappointed but didn't show it. He hurriedly placed his order so he can chat with Hyejung.

“So Hyejung-ssi, you’re going to study here?”  He enquired.

“Yes. I got a scholarship in a university for fashion design. School will start next week.” She answered.

“I see. Congratulations! So are you planning to stay here for good?” Myungsoo asked.

“No. I’m still going back home. I will just stay here for school but will be flying back often.” She countered.

“You’ll be very busy then. You have to be healthy so you can endure it. Take lots of vitamins.” He reminded her.

“Thanks for the concern, Myungsoo-ssi. I’m excited to go to school but I know I have to work hard to juggle all my schedules.” Hyejung stated.

They enjoyed dinner in between chatting and it took about an hour before they finished the meal. Hyejung wanted to pay for her dinner but Myungsoo insisted and told her that it’s his treat. She bid goodbye and the lawyer asked if it’s okay to send her to her room. Hyejung was about to get inside her room when Myungsoo speak up.

“Hyejung-ssi, can I still see you after tonight? Can we have dinner before you go back to Korea?”

“Myungsoo-ssi, you are an awesome guy but I don’t think we should. I’m already seeing someone.” Hyejung confessed.

Myungsoo’s face dimmed with sadness but still he gave her a forced smile.

“It’sHyunjoong, right? He asked to which Hyejung nodded. “I noticed it during your birthday party. You two were inseparable.” He uttered with a sigh.

“I’m really sorry, Myungsoo-ssi.” Hyejung apologized.

“It’s okay. All is fair in love and war. But I just hope you won’t reject my friendship.” He replied.

“Thank you for understanding and of course I am still your friend.” Hyejung smiled as she replied.

“Thank you. I’ll be going now. Good night and take care. Hope you have a safe flight back to Korea.” Myungsoo bid her goodbye.

“Good night, Myungsoo-ssi” and Hyejung watched as the lawyer walked away with a slumped shoulder.

Later that night, Hyunjoong called to check on Hyejung. They discussed about her school schedule and her moving to her Hongkong apartment. Hyunjoong was able to free up his schedule so he’ll be coming with her when she moves in.  And instead of staying for three days, she was able to book a flight the next day but decided to surprise his boyfriend and didn’t tell him. She also didn’t mention anything about meeting Myungsoo. She’ll tell him everything when she comes home.

It’s almost eleven in the evening of Friday and Hyunjoong is not in a good mood. He’s been trying to contact Hyejung since this afternoon but he can’t reach her. Maybe she’s just busy sorting things in Hong Kong but she should keep her phone open. It’s just a day since she left but he’s really missing her. He just arrived at his place and got in immediately. He decided to just head to the shower so he can sleep early and pick up Hyejung in the airport the next day. He got off the shower with just a towel wrapped around his waist and climbed in his bed. When he pulled down the covers, a very familiar chuckle welcomed him and erasing all his worries.

“I’m home, Shillang. I miss you.”

" I love you.. You complete.."

Hyunjoong repeated Tom Cruise’s famous line from his movie Jerry Maguire. He and his girlfriend of four years- Hwangbo Hyejung just finished watching the film on this lazy Saturday afternoon. Hyejung is now into chick flick and trying to be a good boyfriend, he’ll give in to her most of the time. Sometimes, he’ll cajole her to watch action movies but he’ll always find her asleep half way of the movie.

Hyejung snuggled to Hyunjoong’s side as the movie ended and he switched off the television.

“You complete me….Ain’t that a lovely line Shillang?" She asked in dreamy voice. “And Renee’s reply is so heartfelt…”

“You know I love you, Buin but sometimes, I just cringed watching sappy romantic movies. Last week you made us watched that movie with an angel who decided to be human just to be with the girl he loved. And the week before- The wedding singer.” He blabbered.

“Because these are feel good movies. It’s always happy to watch how love can change the world." She reasoned out with a smile.

“Sometimes the lines are just downright cheesy!” he rebuts.

“Cheesy?" Hyejung chuckled at Hyunjoong’s reply. “That’s coming from a man who folded 1000 paper crane, sang a love song under a peach tree in the middle of the night for her make-believe wife’s birthday.”

“That’s not cheesy, Buin. It’s called confession. If I didn't do that, I know things would not have progressed between us. The show might have ended with you thinking that it’s all acting for me.” Hyunjoong countered.

“Really? Well, what about that ring you placed in my side dish, making yourself a star just to fulfill my wish on our farewell trip. That’s cheesy. ”

“Nope. That’ an assurance for you. When I gave you that ring it means I’m not going to let you go. The star means I’m always going to be watching over you.” He countered.

Hyejung can’t help but laughed out loud and jokingly swat Hyunjoong by the shoulder.

“Now, now...Waking up in the morning and finding your girlfriend tracing the words “I Love you” in your chest  ...That’s cheesy.” Hyunjoong quipped.

Hyejung blushed and replied. “That’s not cheesy. I called that affirmation. Even without words I can show you how much I do.”

“And what about the time I caught you spraying my after shave on your pillow.” He asked again.

“That’s diversion. So I won’t think too much when you’re away. That I will feel as if you’re just sleeping next to me.” Hyejung explained.

Hyunjoong paused to just stare at her face. He dropped a quick kiss on her lips and then uttered.

“What did you tell me when I almost gave up because of your stubborn idea of keeping our relationship a secret?"

“I told you I can take the hateful message from your fans and give up my career just to be with you.” Hyejung impishly replied.

“See, that’s what you called fluffy cheese.” He teased her.

“No. That’s devotion.” She countered. “But remember the day after the HongKong scandal, when you flew back early morning just to explain everything to me. Telling me that you cannot live without me and that you’d rather be a monk that to spend a lifetime alone. Aissh, I remember your tearful face, shillang.” Hyejung blabbered with a giggle.

“Yah! That’s desperation. I was not sure if you would take my explanation. The photos were posted in the net on your birthday. I was so scared that you’re hurting too much and that you would ask for a break up.” Hyunjoong defensively snapped.

“Aigoo! Just admit it, Shillang. You are mushy, romantic, down-right cheesy boyfriend.” And she snaked her arms on his waist pulling him just a breath away from her.

Hyunjoong gazed at her lovingly before nodding. Hyejung’s face lights with his admission and she can’t help but giggle.

“But you are my class-A, top of the line, number one, cheesy girlfriend.” Hyunjoong quipped.

“That I am baby!” Hyejung jibed with a chuckle before closing the distance and kissed him passionately.

When they come up for air both have sated look on their face. All of a sudden Hyunjoong blurted out

“I'm hungry Buin. Let’s order pizza. “

Their eyes met and with a silly grin on their face both exclaimed. “Seven cheese overload!”

“I love you my handsome cheese ball!”  Hyejung said in between fits of laughter.

“I love you more my lovely cheese puff!” Hyunjoong replied as he wrapped her in his arms.

Chapter 18

Fashion school? You mean you’re going to stay in HongKong to study? Hyunjoong asked.

“I applied six months ago. I didn’t expect that they’ll consider me. It’s going to be just for a year.” Hyejung explained.

“But what will happen to us? Long distance relationship is hard.” Hyunjoong sighed.

“Look, Shillang, this is a big step for me. I’ve been really wanting to go back to school and this scholarship is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I know we can find a way to make things work out.” Hyejung reasoned out- her eyes pleading for his understanding.

Hyunjoong had no choice but to just take a sigh and nod. Though it’s hard for him to be apart from her, he cannot hinder her from fulfilling her dreams. All he can do is to support and understand her.

“When do you need to leave?” Hyunjoong asked as he drew Hyejung to his embrace.

“By next week. I need to see the school first and check my schedule so I can inform my management. I might need to take a leave from Muhan Girls.” Hyejung replied as she snuggled closer to him.

“I have to go on a photo shoot next week. I’m not sure if I can come with you. Can you reschedule so I can be with you when you check your school?” he asked.

“I’ll call the school tomorrow so we can book flight as soon as possible. “She replied.

“Why do you need to study abroad, Buin. I hope you just took one here so we’ll be together.” Hyunjoong asked again, sadness filling his heart.

“I wanted to try things out. It’s a good opportunity to learn the international market. Baby, are you not happy for me?” Hyejung tried to make him see her point.

“I’am, Yeobo. I’m happy that you’re going to have this chance. I’m just sad that we can’t be together just when we started our relationship.” Hyunjoong answered sincerely.

“It’s not easy for me too. I want to spend time with you. I love you baby. I’ll do everything to make our relationship work out. Believe me.” She replied earnestly.

“We’ll make this work out. I will not let distance come between us." And Hyunjoong kissed her passionately. When they parted, he stood up and helped her off the couch. He gathers her in his arms again and whispered.

“Can I stay for the night, Yeobo?”

Hyejung laced her arms on his neck and dropped a kiss on his lips. He took that as a cue so he picked her up- bridal style and head to her room.

Hyunjoong woke up to the incessant ringing of his phone. Afraid that Hyejung will be awake with the noise, he picked up his phone and tip toed out of the room.

“Yes, Hyung. I know. I’m in Hyejung’s place. Don’t worry I won’t be late.” He mumbled to the person on the other line.

He checked the time on his phone and saw that its quarter past six. He head back to the room to dress up before going back to his place. When he stepped in the room, Hyejung is already awake and sitting in the middle of the bed.

“You’re up early? You have to go somewhere?” she asked, her voice still husky from sleep.

Hyunjoong walked towards her and sat beside her. Hyejung scoot closer so he draped an arm on her shoulder and gave her a morning kiss.

“I have to attend filming for Star King. I’ll drop by at my place then head to the studio.” He informed her.

“Do you have time for breakfast? I can prepare something fast.” Hyejung asked as she stood up but Hyunjoong placated her.

“Its okay, Yeobo. I’ll grab something in the studio. Go back to sleep. I don’t know what time it’ll finish but 

I’ll come here as soon as were done.”  He then dressed up, dropped a quick kiss on her lips and bid goodbye.

It was already two in the afternoon when Hyunjoong got a call from Hwangbo. Good thing he was on break so he was able to answer her call.

“Yes, Yeobo? “He greeted.

“Hyunjoong-ah, I just called the school a while ago. They informed me that I need to go there as soon as possible. They’re actually expecting me to be there before the weekend.” she started with a sigh.

“That soon? When do you plan to leave?” he asked.

“Im planning to go there this Thursday then maybe I can go back by weekend here.” She advised.

“Ok. I’ll try to check if I can come with you. Just don’t book anything yet. I’ll be there after the shoot.” Hyunjoong replied.

“Okay. I’ll wait for you here. I‘ll just go buy some stuff for a while. Just text me when you’re on your way.

“Ok. See you later, Yeobo.” Then Hyunjoong hung up and continue with their filming.

Hyejung was setting the table for their dinner when she heard the bell ring. She rushed to welcome Hyunjoong and became worried when she saw his sad face.

“Baby, what’s wrong?” Hyejung asked.

“Let’s just talk later.” Hyunjoong replied and forced a smile. He reached for her and wrapped Hyejung in his embrace.

They enjoyed the dinner Hyejung prepared and when they’re done, they head back to the living room. Hyejung prepared cut fruits for them to share. She sat beside Hyunjoong and reveled on his warmth as he wrapped his arms around her.

“Yeobo, manager Hyung advised me that I cannot leave on Thursday. We’re now in full swing of our promotion.” He explained.

“I see. Its okay, baby. I’ll be home soon anyway. I’ll just check my schedule and the accommodation then I’ll fly back. Don’t worry too much okay.”Hyejung assured him.

“Can you just book a flight early in the morning so I can send you to the airport?” Hyunjoong asked.

“Okay. Im gonna miss you, Hyunjoong-ah.” And she snuggled even more.

“I will miss you more. Don’t be mad if I’ll call you frequently. And I’ll pick you up when you come home.” He retorts and dropped a kiss on her hair. “Aisssh, you haven’t left yet but I’m already feeling sad.” He added.

“Will make things work, Hyunjoong-ah. Just believe in us. For now let’s just enjoy all the time we have before I leave.” Hyejung tried to cheer her boyfriend.

“I love you, Yeobo.” Hyunjoong quipped and pulled her up. He gave her a sleazy smile before tugging her hand and run towards her room.

Days passed by quickly. It’s now two in the morning of Thursday and the couple just arrived in the airport.

“Don’t come down with me anymore, Baby. It’s better to be safe. Some paparazzi might be lurking here so I’ll just go ahead, okay.” Hyejung uttered with sadness on her voice.

“Okay, Yeobo. Remember to call me as soon as you arrive.” Hyunjoong replied. He unclasped his seatbelt and reached for Hyejung. He hugged her tightly and gave her passionate kiss.

“Take care, Hyunjong-ah. Behave while I’m away. I love you” she teased.

“I love you, Yeobo. Don't worry I’m always well behaved. Remember Jagiya, don’t entertain boys there. Remember your lonely boy friend waiting back home.” He quipped.

Hyejung give him another kiss before going down his car. Hyunjoong watched her leave and only left when he can see her no more.

Hyejung arrived at around six am and then hail a taxi to the hotel. She arrived in Mandarin Oriental and checked-in in no time. She was busy trying to call Hyunjoong when a rushing man bumped into her.

“I’m sorry, miss...Hyejung-ssi!” the man exclaimed.

“Myungsoo-ssi!”
