hello! I'm back guys.The supposed to be trip was shortened due to some unforeseen event..lol..anyways, guys help me out here..tell me if the flow of the story's already dragging and if i need to cut some parts. I really want to here feedback..til the next chappie

Chapter 13

Hyejung woke up with the feeling of someone watching her. It was only six in the morning but the little girl inside her tummy’s already making a ruckus. She tried to pacify her by placing her hand on top but then she felt another hand reached her tummy before she does. She opened her eyes and saw Hyunjoong staring at her while running his big hand on her protruding belly.

“I can feel her moving. “ Hyunjoong told her with that certain glimmer in his eyes.

“Well its seems that she’s up early. Maybe she’s excited for her check up." And Hyejung tried to sit up.

“Is she always like that? He asked curiously still trying to feel the baby.

“Not really. Sometimes she’s just sleeping but when I reached sixth month she’s been very active.  Come on now. Let’s get moving...” Hyejung coaxed. 

Hyunjoong get up and assisted her out of the bed. They decided to have breakfast first before they hit the shower. Since the doctor’s clinic is about thirty minute drive from their place, they left the house half past seven.

Upon arriving at the clinic, they parked at the farthest area and use the backdoor as per Doctor Park‘s instruction. Hyejung gently knocked and the doctor let them in. All the lights were still off except for one room. 

“It’s good to see you again, Hyejungssi. The last time you were here, we just confirmed your pregnancy and now look at you. And I presume this is the father?” The doctor greeted cheerfully.

“I needed to leave the country for some time. But I’m back now and I have my records here from my doctor. And yes, he is the father.”  Hyejung simply explained and handed the envelop to Dr. Park. The couple patiently waits as she read the medical records.

“Hyejungssi, the baby seems to be healthy. And you’re going to have a baby girl.  I will just conduct a simple check up but if you like we can also do another ultrasound.”  The doctor offered.

“I think we would like to have another ultrasound.” Hyunjoong replied shyly and Hyejung just nodded. The doctor asked Hyejung to lie down on the bed and she’ll just get the equipments. Hyejung did as asked and Hyunjoong pulled a chair to her side. They waited in silence and Hyunjoong was biting his nails.

“Hyejung-ah, I don’t know but I’m nervous. It’s my first time to see Victoria like this.”  He confessed.

Hyejung chuckled and replied. “It’s normal Hyunjoong. When I first went here to confirm if I’m pregnant I was a nervous wreck. It’s nice to have someone beside me now.”

“I’m really sorry, Hyejung. I promised to be present in every check up if possible.” And Hyunjoong reached out for her hand and kissed it. 

They were just gazing at each other when Dr Park came wheeling in the equipment. The doctor gave them a knowing smile and just does all the prep for the ultrasound. Hyunjoong was in awe the minute he heard the baby’s heartbeat.  And when finally the image became clear on the screen, his whole face light up and uttered with glee.

“That’s my baby girl! Hello Victoria! Say hi to daddy! ”

Hyejung and Dr Park laughed at Hyunjoong’s reaction. It’s really a feat seeing him with that goofy expression. After the procedure, Dr.Park gave him a copy of the sonogram and he was really beaming with happiness.

“ Hyejung-ah, I’ll keep this picture in my wallet.” Hyunjoong told him and Hyejung just smiled and nodded at him.

Hyunjoong left for Busan that day and was back after three days. During the days he was away from Hyejung, he kept on calling to check on her. By the start of the week, he was back in Seoul in time to attend Junjin and Bea’s wedding. Hyejung wore a lilac Venus cut chiffon dress, much to Hyunjoong’s disapproval. Not that it doesn’t look good on her but because she was just simply stunning. Hyunjoong can’t take his eyes off her and he’s sure most men in the wedding will be mesmerized with her even with the baby bump. When they arrived at the event, her family flanked at them chatting if she’s okay with her condition. When the ceremony was about to start, she carefully made her way and join the rest of the entourage as she was Bea’s maid of honor. When she walked down the altar, Hyunjoong was just staring at her and even through the whole ceremony. During the reception, he was also very attentive towards her, never leaving her side and asking if she’s not yet tired. And when the crowd was asked to join the newlywed with their first dance, Hyunjoong excitedly asked her to dance with him. Hyejung accepted and both of them laugh when his song played- Marry me marry you.

“Hyunjoong-ah, don’t you find it odd. I’m almost seven months pregnant and yet this is just our first dance?”She asked in amusement.

“Well, technically not the first. We dance when we went to Hongdae, right?  But this one is different and I like this way better.” Hyunjoong replied with a grin and he even stepped closer to her. Hyejung just nodded and together they swayed to the music.

The couple left earlier than the other guest since Hyejung’s already feeling tired. After bidding goodbye to her best friend and her family, Hyejung was ushered out of the reception area.

The days past and the couple settle into normal life. Hyejung is back in the office though she only stays half day. Most of her paper woks, she just bring home while Hyunjoong is now very busy with his album promotion as his compromise with his company. He’ll do all events’ this month and he’ll be free for the next three months to be there for Hyejung before and after she gives birth.  In between their busy schedule, Hyejung began preparing the baby’s room since she only has less than two months to prepare. Most of the basic things that they would need were already provided during the baby shower but Hyunjoong insisted on buying more for her daughter.  Hyunjoong asked Hyejung to meet him in a mall after her office since he was able to clear his schedule in the afternoon. They would need to get baby furniture and have it installed within the week. Hyejung already contacted her group and they promised to work on it fast and have it ready for Vicky.

Hyejung was the first to arrive so she went ahead to the baby’s department and looked around for the things she liked. Hyunjoong was already on the way and within fifteen minutes, she saw him rushing towards her.

“Hyejung-ah, I’m sorry. I was caught in the traffic. Where you able to choose already? “Hyunjoong asked as he catches his breath.

“I already saw a matching cabinet, crib and changing table. Since the walls were already lilac, I chose the all white set. I’m also going to put some accent on it. I will hand paint dainty flowers on the wall." She explained as they walk towards the things she chose.

“Are you sure you can still finish it. Maybe you’ll get too tired.” He asked full of concern.

“Hyunjoong, I have designed a lot of hotels and houses but designing room for my baby will be my greatest project. Don’t worry I’ll take good care of us. I will have everything ready for Victoria.”  She assured the worried father.

“Okay. I just don’t want something to happen to both of you. “And he reached for her hand as they complete their shopping list.

Jaekyung was casually strolling and checking out new clothes when she noticed a little commotion on the other side of the mall.  She approached a teenager girl to ask what it is all about. The girl informed her that Hyunjoong and his girlfriend was spotted in the baby’s section. Good thing the girl didn’t recognize her and she followed them as they run to check the idol. Jaekyung ensure to maintain a good distance away as she trailed after them. Then she went behind another rack as she watched over the couple fussing about the beddings that Hyejung wanted to take. She went after them and after sometime she heard them saying goodbye to the staff and reminding them to ensure timely delivery.  Jaekyung, immediately went after the staff who is in charge of the couple’s purchase and asked if he can talk to him for a bit

“Hello Sir.  I’m Lee Jaekyung.” She greeted sweetly.

“Hello, Ms Lee. It’s so nice finally see you in person. I am one of your fans.”  The staff stammers before Jaekyung.

“Oh, really. That’s nice to hear. Now, you see..."And she looked at the guy’s nameplate. 

 “Jay, I would just like to ask a small favor.”

“Sure, Miss.”  He readily agreed.

“I want to take that lamp over there. Can you see if you still got some new stocks?” Jaekyung asked and even added a sweet smile.

“Sure, Ma’am. I’ll go and get it for you.” The staff quickly replied.

“Oh, by the way, Jay, let me hold that order slip for you.” Jaekyung offered. The staff hesitated but then gave her the slip as he rushed to get the lamp she was ordering. Jaekyung hurriedly read and took a photo of the slip. When the staff got back, she handed back the papers to him and got the lamp and pay for it. She hurriedly rushed out of the mall after that.

“Hmmm. It’s not a residential address but this would be a good start.” She muttered. “Maybe I’ll come to visit you tomorrow.”
