Folie a Deux

here's an update for all of you..i was actually contemplating the past few days if I will still continue with this or if I should just put this blog as private. but somehow, i find myself writing this chapter inspite of everything..

sorry for the drama chinggus..hehe..i just want to vent out..anyways here it is..enjoy!!

Chapter16

Hyunjoong woke up with the sunlight on his face. He gently opened his eyes and turned to his side. There on the crook of his arms, Hyejung still sleeps peacefully. He can’t help but gaze at her and gently trace the bridge of her nose. He showered her face with butterfly kisses and smiled when he felt Hyejung awakening. When his eyes met hers, he tilted her chin and gives her a quick kiss.

“What a good way to start the day. Good morning, Babe.” Hyunjoong grinned and pulled her closer to him.

“Good morning, Hyunjoong-ah. Indeed it’s a great morning. The weather’s nice, Vicky’s still asleep and I woke up with your kiss. I can get use to this.” Hyejung replied.

“Well, you better. I’m here to stay. Would you like to stay here for a while or should we go and have breakfast?”  He asked.

“Five minutes.” And she placed her hands on his chest.

“Honey, you said we’ll stay only for five minutes. Don’t start something we can’t finish okay,” Hyunjoong reprimanded her but with a smile on his face. Hyejung pouted but gave him a smile when he said later.

“Hyejung-ah, what do you think of the name Soo Jin for our baby?" Hyunjoong enquired.

“Kim SooJin. I like it. But we’ll use her English name too, okay. I’m so used calling her Victoria.” Hyejung agreed.

“Of course. But do you know what Soo Jin means?” he asked again. Hyejung shook her head so he continued. 

“It means, treasure. Because you and Victoria are my most precious treasure." He simply explained. Hyejung was so touched; she caressed his face, murmured thank you before giving him a kiss. When it ended, Hyunjoong stood up and helped her out of the bed.

“Honey, go and take a shower. I’ll check if we already have breakfast.”

“Don’t you want to shower together?” Hyejung teased again.

Hyunjoong gently smack her on the bum before pushing her towards the shower stall. 

“Your offer is very tempting but I’d rather have you when we have more time. Junjin and Bea might be waiting for us already. Go now or else we’ll not go out of this room the whole day.”

Hyunjoong head out and found the whole house still silent so he just went back to their room. Hyejung just finished taking a quick shower so he took his turn. After about fifteen minutes, they went out of the room hand in hand.

Bea and Junjin was surprised that when they went out to have breakfast the other couple is still nowhere to be found. Bea decided to cook breakfast, bacon and eggs and simple toast while Junjin rummaged the fridge and found bottled juice. They have everything ready when Hyunjoong and Hyejung arrived hand in hand. They took a seat and shared the meal.

“So, you two have a nice sleep?” Junjin asked with a teasing look.

“Definitely. “ Hyunjoong replied and squeezed Hyejung’s hand.

Bea and Junjin noticed the shift on the couple’s relationship but decided to be quiet about it. They’re happy to see Hyunjoong fussed about Hyejung and never leaving her side. They enjoyed the remaining days in Jeolla by taking a dip in the sea, strolling along the shore and just being with each other. And just like that the three days past in a blur and their vacation has to end.

Hyunjoong was driving back to their place in Apgujeong, while Hyejung sleeps. He has planned a surprise for her and hopes that she’ll like it. When they arrived, he gently woke her up and helped her out of the car.

“Honey, I have a surprise for our baby. Can you just close your eyes for a second? Don’t worry, I’ll guide you.”Hyunjoong said. Hyejung closed her eyes and with Hyunjoong holding her by the waist guiding her towards their destination. Then Hyunjoong asked to open her eyes at the count of three. Hyejung was surprised and her tears fell when she saw Hyunjoong’s gift for Victoria- there stood in the middle of the garden is a mini playground. A slide, swing set, monkey bars and see-saw and on the other side is a mini playhouse.

“Well, I’m hoping Victoria’s not going to be an only child so I prepared everything.” Hyunjoong explained.

“Thank you so much, Hyunjoong. I’m sure Vicky will enjoy playing here once she’s old enough. And with regard to your other plan, let’s just discuss that once Vicky’s out, okay” And she drop a kiss on his lips.

“Okay. So this is for our kid, now I also have a gift for you. Come on.” And Hyunjoong took her hand as they walk towards the house. Hyejung was surprised when she was lead to the garage. A sleek red car was parked and Hyunjoong hand her a key.

“This one’s for you, Hyejung-ah. I don’t want to hear any objection. I know your car is still in top condition but consider this as a gift for coming back. This is also fit once you go back to work and if you want to bring Victoria with you.” Hyunjoong explained.

“Hyunjoong-ah this is too much.” She protested but Hyunjoong silenced her with a kiss.  Knowing that he will not accept any reason she just took the keys and check the car. When she’d seen enough, she stood beside Hyunjoong and wrapped her arm around him and whispered.

“Thank you, jagiya.”

Hyunjoong was surprised with the way she called him. He felt a sudden rush of emotion in his heart and he can’t help but be giddy with her simple sign of affection. Hyejung laughed at him and he just enveloped her in a big bear hug.

Time passed quickly. Only two more weeks before Hyejung’s due date. For the past couple of weeks, since Hyunjoong free up his schedule, he would send and pick up Hyejung in her office. She wanted to work and keep running her business even if she’s a lot bigger now. While Hyejung is in the office, Hyunjoong would drop by at their management office, do quick training or check project offers. Sometimes he also does events but only if this will not require out of town or whole days shoot. In the afternoon they would head home after or sometimes drop at his parents’ house. Good thing that after their public confession, reporters back out and not follow them much anymore. But they still enjoy just being at home, playing with their pets and just enjoying time together. They already finished attending birthing class to which Hyunjoong eagerly participated. Since they’re only waiting for the big day, Hyejung already prepared her maternity bag, ready to go anytime needed and Hyunjoong has the doctor’s number in speed dial.

Hyejung was in the office, busy checking the new project that Bea is handling. A month ago, she offered Bea to just work with her in her business. Since Bea enjoyed working for her when she was out of the country, she accepted the offer. So now, she just stays in the office and oversees everything. She’ll work fulltime again after giving birth. Kaye came in to give her a parcel and left after. Hyejung checked it, no return address or details to where it came from. She opened the enveloped and immediately dropped it on her drawer after glancing at it. Hyejung was stunned with what she saw. She sat there dazed, looking blankly at the wall. After a while, she grabbed her bag and locked her office.  Kaye was there doing some paper works when she passed by.

“Kaye, I’m heading home now, I’m not feeling well.” She informed her secretary.

“Hyejung- ah, are you okay? Is Hyunjoong there to pick you up?”  Kaye asked worriedly.

“No. I’ll just text him that I’ll go ahead.” Hyejung replied.

“I’ll drive you home. Let me just get my bag. Bea’s on the way here.  I’ll just inform her.” Kaye told her with finality and she just nodded.

On the way home, Hyejung just kept quiet and just looking at the road. Kaye helped her inside the house but she insisted that she’s okay.  Beka asked if she wants to eat but she said she’s not yet hungry and will just take a nap. Instead of going to their room, Hyejung head to Victoria’s room. She sat on the play mat clutching the panda stuff toy Hyunjoong gave her before.  Her tears fell as she looked around the room. She laid her tired body and before she knew it sleep claimed her.

Hyejung didn’t know how long she had been sleeping but she was startled by a sudden pain in her belly. Thinking that it’s just because of sleeping on the floor, she gently stood up and stretched. The pain went away and she just decided to check the things on Victoria’s cabinet. She re-folds the baby’s clothes, arranged the diaper bags and just ensures that everything’s in order.  When she went out of the room only then that she’s noticed that it’s already eight in the evening yet Hyunjoong’s not home. Beka served her dinner and after getting just a few spoonfuls, she went back to bed. She took a quick shower because she’s feeling hot and clammy. She dons her dress shirt and climbed in bed. Hyejung was reading her pregnancy book when she felt another pain by her lower back. She decided to lie down to ease the pain but only a few minutes passed when it hit again and much stronger.  She stood up to get her phone and call her doctor. She was able to take a couple of steps when the bedroom door open and then she suddenly felt liquid gushing on her feet. Panic stricken, she mumbled at the more petrified looking Hyunjoong.

“I think my water bag broke. Let’s go to the hospital.”
