Surprise!!! Lol! Coz I really appreciate you guys taking time to leave comment and reading, here's chapter 10 for all of you. This is a long chapter coz I really cant seem to cut the flow..Just tell me its boring ok.. its more of hj and hb moments.

Chapter 10

Hwangbo was surprised that it’s already morning when she woke up. All she can remember was waiting for Hyunjoong to bring in all the gifts. Then how come she’s already in her bed? She just shrugged it off and decided to start the day. It’s only six in the morning but she’s already hungry. She walked towards the bathroom to take a shower. Once done, she head to the kitchen to cook breakfast. 

She was rummaging her cabinets to find for something to cook when he heard him call.

“Hyejung-ah why are you up so early?”  Hyunjoong asked- his voice hoarse from sleep.

“Yah!  What are you doing here?” she replied and went to the living room.

“I stayed here overnight. I can’t leave you alone so I crashed on your couch. Why are you up early?”  Hyunjoong sat as he waits for her.

“I’m hungry but I guess Junjin forgot to buy me groceries."She shyly replied.

“I have food stock in your fridge. I ask Mr. Jeong to buy us food when he came here for my change of clothes. Would it be okay if I shower first? I’ll heat the food after so we can have breakfast.” He told her.

“I’ll heat up the food. You go take a shower now.” And she gently rises from the couch. The added weight and bulk on her belly makes her move a little bit slower. Hyunjoong offered his hand so he can help her out. She shyly smiled at him again and took his hand. Hyunjoong placed his hand on her side to steady her as she stand.

“Are you sure you can manage. Promise I’ll be quick. You can just wait for me in the kitchen.” Hyunjoong asked her with worry.

“Hyunjoong, I’m just pregnant not invalid. Putting food in the microwave is no biggie. Go now so we can eat. Your daughter’s awake and making rumble in my tummy.” Hyejung ordered.

“Okay, okay. I’ll be quick.” And runs with his bag of clothes towards the bathroom. 

Hyejung went back to the kitchen and checked the fridge. True enough, she found bowls of stew and some pasta. She heats it in the microwave and waits for Hyunjoong. He was done after ten minutes and smiled when he saw Hyejung running her hands on her tummy while humming a song. He took the seat in front of her and asked.

“You have a nice voice, Hyejung. “  And Hyejung just smiled back at him. “I bet Victoria loves listening to you.” 

“I love singing to her. “She simply replied. “Come on, I’m starving, let’s eat.” And the couple started their breakfast. After sometime, Hyunjoong asked.

“Hyejung, where have you been? And why didn’t you inform me that you’re leaving. I was so worried about you.”

“I went to the Philippines. I thought you’d be too busy with your career and since Jaekyung’s back, I know you’ll need all the time with her.”  She explained.

“Wait, the day we had lunch, that was six months ago, you said you want to tell me something. You found out that you’re pregnant, right? “Hyunjoong tried to put the events together. Hyejung just nodded so he continued. “But then I told you that Jaekyung’s back. So you decided to run away.” 

“I was really planning to tell you but I saw how you long for Jaekyung and telling you about the baby might ruin everything. “ Hyejung confessed. “Hyunjoong, I’m sorry for keeping the baby from you but I only want what’s best for you that time.”

Hyunjoong tried to see her side. He saw that it was also hard for her, leaving her family while trying to start on her own. He was just so sad to miss out on the baby’s life. He’ll try to get over the past and just make up for the loss time. He took a deep breath and reached out for her hands.

“I’m sorry I wasn’t there for you when you found out about the baby. For not being there when you needed all the support. I want to make it up to you and Vicky. Hyejung, please just give me this chance." Hyunjoong appealed.

“Are we going to stay in your house?” she enquired.

The question made Hyunjoong smiled. “I was thinking that we can stay in the house in Apgujeong. Reporters and fans knew about my place so it’s better if we stay there.” 

Hwangbo just nodded although she’s still unsure. Hyunjoong’s face brightens up and he can’t help but to rushed towards Hyejung and hugged her tight.

“Thank you, Hyejung. I will take good care of you and Vicky. Let’s get you move in by today.”

“Whoah, not so fast, Mr Kim. We need to talk to my parents first. And besides, I just arrive yesterday and my pets are still with Junjin. “Hyejung countered.

“We will see your parents this afternoon and the pets, we’ll just have to ask Junjin to bring it to our place. You haven’t unpacked your bags yet, so we’ll just bring it over.” Hyunjoong rattle on.

“It seems you have it all planned, huh. Well, I will just call my mom and asked if we can see them. They’re still staying in Junho’s place and will be back in Jeolla three days from now.  Then I’ll have to call Richard.” Hyejung retort.

“Richard? Who the hell is he and why do you have to call him?”  Hyunjoong ranted.

“Hyunjoong-ah, Richard is my doctor. I need to call him so he can send my records to your house and not here.”  Hyejung explained.

“Your doctor’s a man? Goodness, Hyejung, you’re going to give me headache.” He replied in disbelief.

Hyejung can’t help but laugh at his reaction while Hyunjoong just glared at her.

“Richard is one of the best OB/Gyn in the Philippines and her wife is my friend Sarah. I stayed with them since Sarah and I worked on her project. I am so fortune that he and Sarah took good care of me and Vicky."

“I’m grateful that they took good care of you and all.  I’d ensure to meet them if I go back to the Philippines. I’m just not comfortable with the thought that he saw you and...” Hyunjoong stuttered as he explained.

“Well, he’s a doctor so he’s use to it by now. Anyway, I’ll call my doctor here, Dr. Park and no need to worry because she’s a woman." She replied and stood up to put the dishes in the sink. Hyunjoong stood up and took the dishes from her hand. He guided her back to the living room and told her to just relax and he’ll clean up the kitchen before they leave. When he’s done he head to the living room and found Hyejung busy writing.

“What are you doing, now?” and he took a seat beside her.

“I’m just writing something for Vicky’s journal.  Do you wanna see her?” she excitedly asked. Hyunjoong nodded so she hand him a sonogram. He took it from her and stares in awe.

“She’s pretty right? I know I sound silly because you can’t see her features clearly but I believe she’ll be a beautiful child.”  Hyejung declared proudly.

“She is beautiful. Besides she doesn’t have a choice but to be pretty- she got us as parents.”  Hyunjoong retort. Their eyes met and they laughed. 

“Hyungjoong-ah, don’t you have any schedule? She asked.

“I’m off for two days but after that I need to go to Busan for album promotions. “He replied. “That’s also why I want you to move in soon. I want to see you settled before I go.”

“Okay, we can move in tomorrow. Since it’s still early, I’ll check on Kaye first. I’ll just get my laptop in the room.” And she tried standing up but Hyunjoong put his hand on her shoulder.  She sat back and let him get it.  Hyejung began working on her computer, reading mails, contracts and other correspondence Kaye sent her. Hyunjoong on the other hand just let her work while he read online manga. After about an hour, Hyejung told Kaye that she needs to go and will drop by the office the next day. She left to change her clothes and asked Hyunjoong to do the same since it’s almost ten in the morning. They left immediately and head on Junho’s house.

Hyejung’s parents were already waiting for them went they arrived. They were lead to the living room and both bowed in front of their elders.

“ Omma, Appa,  Hyunjoong and I already made a decision and we would like to ask for your blessing.

“Oh, you decided to get married!” her mom excitedly exclaimed. Her face fell when Hyejung shook her head.

“Omma, Hyejung agreed to move in with me. She’ll be living in my house in Apgujeong. I will be responsible for her and our baby." Hyunjoong explained.

“When are you planning to move in Hyejung?” her Dad simply asked.

“Tomorrow, Dad.  I just need to run some errands today. Come visit us before you go back to Jeolla.” Hyejung answered.

“Young man, take good care of her. Don’t let her work too much. If you don’t have household help, I’ll send one of ours." Her Dad offered.

“It’s okay, Appa. I already asked my Mom’s helper to stay with us. And don’t worry; I’ll make sure she’ll get enough rest. “Hyunjoong assured his “father –in-law”.

Just then Hyejung’s phone rings. She saw that its Junho calling.

“Hello Oppa , “  She greeted.

“You’re with Hyunjoong now? In my house?  Whatever happens doesn’t leave unless I told you. “Junho ordered firmly.

“But, Oppa what’s wrong. We need to leave soon? “Hyejung asked in confusion.

“Don’t ask too much. Let me talk to Hyunjoong.” Junho ordered again.

Hyejung just followed his brother’s order and gave the phone to Hyunjoong.  He then walked towards the windows and then closed the drapes again.  Hyejung can’t figure out what they were talking but she suddenly felt the tension. When Hyunjoong hung up he bowed again in front of her parents.

“ Appa, Omma. I’m sorry but Hyejung and I need to stay here and wait for Junhossi.” He calmly advised.

“What’s happening, Hyunjoongssi?” her father asked.

Hyunjoong turned to Hyejung and squeezed her hand before he answered.

“Appa, reporters are waiting for us outside. I don’t know how they track us but I just don’t want Hyejung to be dragged into this mess." Hyunjoong explained.

“Are you planning to keep my daughter a secret Hyunjoong?  If it is so then you can just forget about her. We will take her back to Jeolla and we’ll raise our granddaughter there.”Hyejung’s father asked. He’s infuriated but trying to keep in down since he saw Hyejung’s  already very tensed.

 

“No, that’s not what I mean, Sir. I will tell the public about her and our baby. I just want her to be ready for that and not like this. My management and I will hold a conference to explain everything.”  Hyunjoong humbly explained. Just then Hyejung’s phone rings and she hand it to Hyunjoong when she saw that it’s from Junho.

“Hyunjoong, the reporters will leave. Just make sure that the area is clear before you head out. Just wait for me there. I’m already on my way.”  Junho instructed.

Jaekyung was waiting in her car when she saw the reporters packing their stuff and head to their van. Confused she called the magazine office again.

“Yah, why are the reporters leaving. They haven’t got pictures. How can you get this exclusive scoop?”Jeakyung fumingly blabber.

“Look here Miss. We got direct orders from our boss to clear the scene. They told us that if we don’t all of us will lose our jobs. Now, don’t call us again, okay. Psycho! ” The producer replied.

“Ahhhh! Who the hell disrupted my plans!!!  She exclaimed in rage. “I may have failed now Hyunjoong but don’t get too cozy. I’ll find information regarding that woman."Then she maniacally speeds off.

 

Junho barged into his house startling everyone who was so tensed waiting for him.

“They already left so can now go home now.”

“How did you found out about them, Junhossi?” Hyunjoong curiously asked.

“Sena, my wife was on the way home. Good thing she saw the reporters setting up the camera so she decided to go back and called me. The owner of the publishing company is one of the sponsors in our wedding. Thinking that this might involved you, I called him up and asked to pull out his crew. Thank God, he agreed.” And took a sigh of relief.

“Who would know that we’re here? Did you notice someone following us?” Hyejung asked while rubbing her tummy.  It became a habit of hers every time she’s stress. It calms her and the baby.

“I don’t have any idea, Hyejung. We really have to be very careful.” Hyejung took her hands and entwined with his.

“Better come out in the open before they expose this like dirty garbage. “ Hyejung’s appa ordered and left the room.

“Junhossi, thank you for helping us. I owe you. I will ask my manager to set the press conference before I leave for Busan." And he turned to Hyejung’s mother. “ Omma, I’m really sorry for the inconvenience.  I’ll settle everything as soon as possible." And he bowed to her again.

“Use my car. It’s better to be cautious. I’ll just pick it up in Hyejung’s place. “And Junho tossed the keys to Hyunjoong and the couple left heavy hearted.
